    Responsibilities

     

    Job Purpose

     

    As a Clinical & Technical Content Writer, you will work closely with cross functional teams (design, development, marketing) to help Welldoc fulfill its mission of designing and delivering best in class mobile and digital health products. 

     

    Welldoc is a fast-paced environment working in the rapidly evolving digital health environment. Part of your job will be reacting to clinical guidelines across disease states to iterate the product accordingly. 

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Create, edit, and finalize content for web/mobile products across multiple disease states including diabetes, prediabetes, and hypertension
    • Create, edit, and finalize content for user guides, manuals, FAQs, training materials, etc.
    • Ensure content is compliant with ethical, legal, scientific, regulatory, and client standards
    • Maintain project documentation and folders
    • Ensure proper version control of all applicable content
    • Participate in user acceptance testing prior to product releases
    • Work with our cross-functional teams as necessary to support the various phases of new product development

    Required Education & Special Skills 

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree in dietetics, nursing, public health, or related healthcare or science field.
    • Content expertise and healthcare domain knowledge, particularly for diabetes
    • Minimum 2 year of healthcare-related writing and editing experience. Additional medical, clinical, communications, writing, and editing a plus. 
    • Digital media (i.e., web, mobile) writing and editing experience with a consumer focus, preferred
    • Understanding of how people manage chronic illnesses
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
    • Flexible and able to take constructive feedback 
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team-based environment
    • Demonstrated ability to work on concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints

    Technical Skills and Knowledge

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
    • Experience with HTML a plus
    • Experience with Adobe Acrobat a plus
    • Experience with Confluence is a plus
