    In the role of Senior Content and Social Media Marketing Manager, you’ll grow our followers, engage and retain them, and help convert them into leads, customers, and active fans and promotes of Welldoc.  You should have command of best practices and trends in social media marketing, enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience.

     

    • Build and manage Welldoc’s social media profiles and presence, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and potentially additional channels.
    • Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to both spread the Welldoc brand and our content and links.
    • Listen and engage in relevant social discussion about Welldoc, our competitors, and/or industry, both from existing customers and leads and from brand new audiences that don’t yet know us.
    • Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success, ranging from Twitter chats, to LinkedIn conversations, as well as the content and links posted through these and other channels.
    • Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence.
    • Explore new ways to engage and new social networks to reach our target buyers.
    • Lead the development of content marketing plans, with an emphasis on audience and content research, setting editorial strategy, developing workflow and content management procedures, overseeing content production, planning for content iterations and improvements and promoting and evaluating of efforts
    • Lead content strategy work including content audits, content plans, governance plans, style guides, etc. for web/digital information including web pages, blog posts, multimedia, social media, digital advertisements, email and physical content when necessary
    •  Work closely with creative designers, web content managers, other brand portfolio content managers to develop content requirements for existing and proposed content needs.
    • Own the optimization and delivery of demand gen marketing campaigns, programs and tactics that generate new leads.

     

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS in marketing, business, communications, or relevant field of study
    • 3+ years working in social media, content and/or brand strategy arena of marketing
    • Previous experience in writing (e.g., copywriting, PR, marketing communications, etc.) and digital (e.g., SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media, etc)
    • Strong writing and editing skills and understanding of appropriate grammar, spelling and punctuation rules
    • Highly analytical, experience setting and achieving KPI and campaign metrics
    • Understanding of SEO strategy especially as it applies to content
    • Experience with analytics dashboards, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Visio a plus
    • Experience with Pardot
    • A proactive, independent self-starter approach, with enthusiasm for teamwork and collaboration
    • A passion for Welldoc’s mission and a desire to drive positive change in the health care industry
