Responsibilities

Responsibilities

As a Technical Writer, you will work closely with cross functional teams (design, development, marketing) to help Welldoc fulfill its mission of designing and delivering best in class mobile and digital health products. 

 

Welldoc is a fast-paced environment working in the rapidly evolving digital health environment. Part of your job will be reacting to clinical guidelines across disease states to iterate the product accordingly. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, organize, write and edit product manuals, quality documents, and technical documents
  • Ensure content is compliant with ethical, legal, scientific, technical, regulatory, and client standards
  • Maintain project documentation, folders and a comprehensive library of technical terminology
  • Ensure proper version control of all applicable content and continuity of style of content
  • Work with our cross-functional teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and support the various phases of the product development

Create and maintain information architecture

Qualifications

Required Education & Special Skills 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in technical writing of software documentation. Additional medical, regulatory, clinical, communications, writing, and editing a plus. 
  • Firm understanding of the SDLC and software development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible and able to take constructive feedback 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team-based environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work on concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints

Technical Skills and Knowledge

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Experience with HTML a plus
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat a plus
  • Experience with Confluence is a plus
