Proven leader offering expertise in developing and executing strategic plans to grow business and a serve as a change agent within healthcare.  This is an Senior Vice President role with responsibility for driving revenue by securing contracts with different Payer stakeholders to purchase BlueStar®.  Payers are defined as health insurance carriers, employers, IDNs, health systems, large physician practices, pharmacy benefit managers, ACO/PCMH programs and other organizations (such as telemedicine, disease management companies etc.).   The Executive Director of Market Access will be responsible to leverage their expertise about Payers to develop benefit coverage, standards of care and payment strategies to propose to Payers and secure their business.  

 

This position is required to design strategic and tactical plans to maximize adoption and uptake of BlueStar® within the Payer community.  To be successful, the candidate must be able to work collaboratively within a team; be driven, with a proven track record of selling products or services within the healthcare marketplace; have deep knowledge of Payers and their needs; experienced in developing proposals and negotiating contracts as well as be agile (able to quickly pivot) to meet the needs of customers and WellDoc®.  It is a plus to also have experience with diabetes, population health and/or introducing a new product/service to market.

This position is an individual contributor role with the possibility to grow and mentor a team as the organization grows.  The candidate must work well in a start-up environment and be able to contribute and, when appropriate, coach throughout all levels within WellDoc®.
